The war between the two great powers over Armenia finally ended with the victory of Parthians, and the brother of the Parthian King was crowned as the King of Armenia. As a result, a branch of Parthian Dynasty was developed in this land. Following a historical researchmethod, the present study was mainly intended to explore the process of Iranian Parthians’ coming to power in Armenia and identify the determining factors<br />in this regard. The findings demonstrate that the Parthian branch in Armenia was formed under the influence of some external factors, such as competitions between Iran and Rome, and certain internal factors, such as the interestof Armenian aristocrats and public in Parthians. در زمان پادشاهی بلاش اول، ارمنستان به مسئله اصلی مورد رقابت شاهنشاهی اشکانی و امپراطوری روم تبدیل شد. درنهایت جنگ و جدال دو قدرت بر سر ارمنستان، به نفع اشکانیان به اتمام رسید و برادر شاه اشکانی بر تخت پادشاهی ارمنستان جلوس کرد. بدین ترتیب شاخه ای از خاندان اشکانی در ارمنستان شکل گرفت. هدف اصلی نوشتار حاضر، بررسی روند قدرت یابی اشکانیان ایران در ارمنستان و نیز شناسایی عوامل مؤثر بر آن است. تحقیق حاضر با استفاده از روش مطالعه تاریخی انجام شده است. نتایج حاصل از این پژوهش نشان می دهند که شاخه خاندان اشکانی در ارمنستان، تحت تأثیر برخی عوامل خارجی یعنی رقابت های ایران و روم و برخی عوامل داخلی از جمله علاقه اشراف و مردم ارمنستان به اشکانیان، شکل گرفته است. https://is.iranology.ir/article_711311_77db737dee7cc1c8dab035085061bb44.pdf
