The poets and writers of the Safavid period, both those who are related to the court and those who are engaged in writing and reading outside the court system, addressed it with a new perception of Iranian identity. The indicators that they have in their writings directly and indirectly refer to Iran and Iranian concepts and explain their beliefs in this matter. In this research, the poetic texts of more than ten poets of this period were carefully studied and all the parts related to the concepts of Iran and Iranian identity were extracted and studied with the method of content analysis. The components that indicate Iranian identity are not necessarily the direct word "Iran", but other indicators of beliefs and traditions and confrontations with non-Iranians determine this identity. Stuart Hall's theory of representation is helpful in reading and interpreting cultural signs and reasoning and drawing conclusions. Especially stereotyping is effective in conveying this opinion. However, sometimes some points come only from the texts of this body of research, which can be checked by their induction and paying attention to the social history of Iran. As a result of the studies, the most frequent related concepts can be considered as "pride and boasting of ancient Iran", "Iran and being Iranian in comparison with the race, identity and power of other countries", "Iran's sadness and destruction" and "Iran and Iranian power". In addition to the explicit mention of Iran's name, components such as Shiite beliefs, serious and meaningful attention to the ancient powers of Iranians in government and traditionalism show the renewal of Iranian identity.
